It should warm your hearts that in light of the unfortunate passing of Natasha Richardson, the world — mostly Americans, Canadians, Britons, and Spaniards — has taken to the Internet to offer condolences by way of a few well-meaning but clumsy keystrokes.

Our fair friend and emotional aggregator, Google Trends, has ranked the most frequently searched terms, and even though the luminous thesp comes in at #32 as “natash richardson” as of early this morning—really world, you couldn’t have taken a moment out for spell-check?—father/producer Tony Richardson is #16. Her mother/fellow Evening co-star Vanessa Redgrave and husband Liam Neeson are at #22 and #25 respectively. And someone named “Joely Redgrave” is at #27, while there’s a “Jolie Richardson” at #73—although typists surely meant sister and Nip/Tuck star Joely Richardson, followed immediately by late grandfather Sir Michael Redgrave.Also in the Top 100: dear friend Lauren Bacall, cousin Jemma Redgrave, and uncle Corin Redgrave. Conspicuously MIA from the ever-changing index: aunt/Oscar-nominated Gods & Monsters star Lynn Redgrave. Special thanks to someone who felt the need to promptly update the late actress’ Wikipedia page. Those wishing to honor Richardson’s memory more nobly would do well to include screenings of everything from The Handmaid’s Tale to The Parent Trap in any vigils they have planned for the next few days.
