• Natasha tapped for Broadway revival!! •

British acting mother and daughter duo Vanessa Redgrave & Natasha Richardson have been touted to star in a Broadway revival of Stephen Sondheim musical A Little Night Music, following the success of their one-off show last month (Jan09). The stars paired up for a one-night fundraising performance on 12 January (09), with the hope that the stint would pave the way for a bigger New York production.

And according to the New York Post, Sondheim is eager to have Redgrave and Richardson share the stage again for the first full revival of the Broadway show, which is scheduled to launch next year (10). The production, based on Ingmar Bergman movie Smiles of a Summer Night, will first open in London’s West End in April (09).Redgrave and Richardson are not thought to be a part of the show planned for the British capital.
